Abstract

Implementation of a Web-Based Reservation Service Information System at a Beauty Salon (Case Study: Beauty Jean Salon) Ratna Aryani, Damar Prasetyo,M.Kom Information Systems Study Program, Faculty of Science & Technology University of Technology Yogyakarta Jl. Ringroad Utara Jombor Sleman Yogyakarta E-mail : ratnaaryani209@gmail.com, prassetyodmr@gmail.com, ABSTRACT Beauty jean salon is one of the businesses engaged in services because it is providing services to its customers. Salon Beauty Jean offers a variety of facial treatments, from head to toe treatments. The price offered is relatively cheaper than other salons, the quality is also good, and the service is very friendly and comfortable, so that beauty jean salons have many customers. The problem that occurs at this time is the reservation service process which requires customers to come directly to the salon or by telephone and the transaction process and document recording are still manual, so it takes a long time to process it. Therefore, it will certainly allow for errors in recording reservations, transactions, and recording documents. In this case, the quality of the information obtained is not optimal, for that the author makes a system so that in reservation services, transactions and reports can be handled quickly, precisely, and accurately.
