Abstract

Culinary Center adalah suatu sektor pariwisata yang sejak awal sudah direncanakan adanya pengembangan oleh Pemerintah Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta, dengan tujuan untuk memberikan dampak terhadap sektor perdagangan, jasa, hingga industri, karena pertumbuhan perekonomian D.I.Yogyakarta dipacu oleh sektor pariwisata. Kabupaten Bantul, merupakan salah satu Kabupaten yang berada disebelah selatan Provinsi D.I Yogyakarta. Sebelah Utara Kota Yogyakarta dan Kabupaten Sleman, sebelah Timur Kabupaten Gunungkindul, sebelah Selatan Samudra Hindia dan sebelah Barat Kabupaten Kulonprogo. Lokasi site Perancanagan Culinary Center terletak di Jalan Pantai Depok, Kelurahan Kretek, Kabupaten Bantul, Kota DIY. Merupakan lokasi yang berada sejauh 500 meter dari garis Pantai Depok. Area tanah kosong seluas 1,5 ha. Culinary Center merupakan area kuliner makanan laut dan edukasi olahan makanan laut yang akan menjadi pusat kuliner. Culinary Center di Pantai Depok ini merupakan kuliner yang butuh pengembangan karena terkena dampak ombak pantai dan terkesan kumuh. Hal ini memerlukan pendekatan yang sesuai untuk menyelesaikan bangunan dengan konteks sekitar. Arsitektur Neo Vernakular dipilih menjadi pendekatan desain pada bangunan. Arsitektur Neo Vernakular adalah arsitektur yang tidak hanya melihat elemen fisik tetapi juga non fisik secara modern maupun tradisional. Dengan pendekatan ini, bangunan akan lebih bisa meyelarasakan diri dengan konteks sekitar secara tradisional maupun modern. The Culinary Center is a tourism sector which has been planned for development from the start by the Government of the Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta, with the aim of having an impact on the trade, services, and industry sectors, since D.I. Yogyakarta's economic growth is spurred by the tourism sector. Bantul Regency, is one of the regencies in the south of the D.I Yogyakarta Province. It is in the north of Yogyakarta City and Sleman Regency, in the East of Gunungkindul Regency, in the South of Indian Ocean, and in the West of Kulonprogo Regency. The location of the Culinary Center Planning site is located on Jalan Pantai Depok, Kretek Village, Bantul Regency, Yogyakarta City. It is 500 meters away from the Depok Beach line. An empty land area of 1.5 ha. The Culinary Center is a seafood culinary area and seafood processing education which will become a culinary center. The Culinary Center on Depok Beach is a culinary center that needs development because it is affected by beach waves and looks slum. This requires a suitable approach to complete the building in the context of the surroundings. Neo Vernacular Architecture was chosen as a design approach to the building. Neo Vernacular Architecture is an architecture that does not only consider physical elements but also non-physical elements in a modern and traditional way. With this approach, the building will be more able to adapt to the surrounding context, both traditional and modern.The abstract section should contain the bachground of object, aims, method used and the results.
