Abstract

Scholarship Application and Management Information System Case Study: SMK Ma’arif Mungkid Nur Rokhim Ass Siddiq, Suhirman, Ph.D. Information Systems Study Program, Faculty of Science & Technology University of Technology Yogyakarta Jl. Ringroad Utara Jombor Slemen Yogyakarta E-mail : rohim2706@gmail.com suhirman@uty.ac.id ABSTRACT The implementation of the scholarship application is carried out from the process of collecting files, recording data and selecting through the requirements file. This process creates problems in the form of the complexity of the scholarship acceptance process, causing an increase in the amount of time needed in the process of recording and selecting the required documents. This research is expected to be a medium for scholarship registration, file collection and data management of scholarship application activities. The purpose of the research is to improve the quality of education services in the form of speed in implementing scholarship application activities, the accuracy of data processing results as information in decision making and can help improve time efficiency and work effectiveness in the implementation of scholarship recipients. The Simple Addictive Weighing Method is a method for utilizing the requirements file as an assessment criterion. The method of data collection is done by interview, observation and literacy study. The system design method is waterfall. The system developed is capable of managing scholarship activity data in the form of the registration process, data management and recommendations for prospective scholarship recipients. Recommendations for prospective scholarship recipients are obtained from the use of the requirements file as an assessment criterion. Keywords: Information System, Simple Addictive Weighting.
