ABSTRACT Rice is the staple food of the population in Indonesia. Rice is the main commodity in trade, especially in the market because almost all food stalls sell various types of rice with various price variations. So far, the buying and selling process is carried out by direct payment, then the shop will fetch the rice according to the price paid. Almost all rice transactions use the same method, so it is felt that there is a need for a technological idea and innovation to facilitate and speed up the process of buying and selling rice in stores and in the market. From here came an idea to design a prototype of a rice dispenser that uses an RFID card as access to pick up rice, Arduino Uno microcontroller with keypad menu control, buyers are also free to choose how much rice they need. This tool can also be placed anywhere because of its flexibility which allows buyers not to have to queue for long just to buy rice. Keywords: Rice Dispenser, Arduino Uno, RFID, Keypad.
