Abstract

ABSTRACT An information system is a combination of an information technology and the activities of people who use that technology to support operations and management. In a very broad sense, the term information system is often used to refer to the interactions between people, algorithmic processes, data, and technology. The presence of online rentals that continues to grow slowly will change the transactional habits of some of our people. Manufacturers and consumers will be accustomed to renting goods and services online rather than stepping foot into the outlet directly. Thus, space and time for rental are no longer a constraint. The process of renting North Kalimantan traditional tools is only done directly through the Tenguyun Dormitory directly and through the WhatsApp application media. So on this occasion the author wants to make a breakthrough in Tenguyun Dormitory in the process of renting traditional tools in North Kalimantan. The breakthrough is especially in the rental of traditional tools, namely by building an online rental website for North Kalimantan traditional tools. This system itself aims to facilitate Tenguyun Dormitory in carrying out the process of renting traditional tools, and simplifying the transaction process for renting traditional tools by tenants through an online transaction process.
