Abstract

ABSTRACT In general, a cafe is a place that people visit to look for various kinds of food and drinks. Cafes usually also present their own uniqueness as an attraction, either through the menu of cuisine, entertainment or the physical appearance of the building. Cafes or restaurants in general have difficulty serving food and beverage menu orders, ordering menus manually such as waiters recording visitor menu orders, waiters providing menu ordering notes to the kitchen and cashier, and service visitors paying for their menu orders to the cashier. Usually, a restaurant that is visited by many visitors may face problems with delays in ordering menus, menu recording errors, and errors in payment transactions, resulting in a lack of comfort for visitors. The purpose of this research is to produce an application that is able to overcome service problems, such as delays in ordering menus, menu recording errors, and errors in payment transactions. The design of the food and beverage menu ordering system is implemented using the Laravel framework and using the Xendit payment gateway. With this ordering system, the restaurant sales report data becomes computerized, so it can be stored properly. This information system was developed using bootstrap with PHP programming language and using MySQL database Keywords: Laravel, xendit, Payment Geteway, Menu ordering system.
