Abstract

Economic growth in Gempol Village, Karangjati District, Ngawi Regency is supported by the existence of a regional superior economic sector in the form of Woven Bags. This product is a promising economic source for housewives in Gempol Village. However, this potential has not been utilized optimally, resulting in slow productivity and development of the MSME sector. The ineffectiveness of sales that are still running manually is the main factor in the slow development of MSMEs. In this study, 3 stages of analysis were carried out including: (1) Determining the determinants of the development of SMEs in woven bag crafts (2) Identifying the strengths and weaknesses of these SMEs (3) Determining the typology of the determinants of the development of these SMEs. The results of the study, it can be concluded that an information system is needed for the sale of the results of the UMKM Handicraft Woven Bags to collectors. This web-based system uses the PHP programming language (Pear Hypertext Preprocessor) and the data server uses MySQL. The convenience presented in this system makes it easier for craftsmen and collectors to carry out sales transactions for woven bag crafts.
