Abstract

Boarding house is a service that offers a room or place to live with a certain amount of payment for each certain period. Sleman Regency is an area in the Special Region of Yogyakarta Province which has the most boarding houses compared to other cities or regencies. This also makes the demand for boarding houses high. With the increasing interest of someone looking for a boarding house but confused to find the information, it causes someone to have to waste time just looking for the desired boarding house by searching from one place to another. The purpose of this study is to create a boarding house search information system in Sleman Regency that can store boarding house data and contact owners and can help students who wander in finding boarding houses in the Sleman area according to their wishes. The design of this system is done using the waterfall method. That is a system development method that begins with the stages of needs analysis, system design, program development, implementation of system creation and testing it to users. In this web-based boarding boarding system that will be created, the researcher uses Leaflet JS to display a map of the boarding location and make detailed routes to the boarding house. The results obtained are that the information system for finding boarding houses in Sleman Regency can store data on boarding and contact owners and can help foreign students who wander in finding boarding houses in the Sleman area according to their wishes.
