Abstract
This paper entitled An Analysis of Morphosemantic Korean Language in the Film Miracle in cell no.7 is aimed to find out: 1) the morphosemantic process in the Korean Language used in the Miracle in Cell No.7 movie, 2) the most dominant morphosemantic process in the film Miracle in Cell No. 7. This research is qualitative because this research does not use statistical procedure. The data source is the conversation script of Miracle in Cell No. 7 with data in the form of words, clauses and phrases. The writer uses the theory morphosemantic process by Samsuri which contains explanation about how to form words by connecting one morpheme to another morpheme. The morphosemantic process of Korean is divided into two types: an affixation and an abbreviation. As a result, this study shows that 50 cases of morphosemantic process are found in the film Miracle in Cell No.7. The researcher found out that 35 cases of affixation (70%) and 15 cases of abbreviation (30%). The most dominant morphosemantic process used in the film Miracle in Cell no.7 is as affixation with 35 data (70%).
