Abstract

ABSTRACT Bayu Rattan is one of the shop businesses engaged in the sale of rattan handicrafts. The types of products sold at Bayu Rattan include furniture made from rattan and rattan handicrafts. Currently ordering products at Bayu Rattan is still done by coming directly to the store. Ordering rattan handicraft products at Bayu Rattan begins by recording the product you want to buy on the order note, then making payments directly at the store and making reports by utilizing a collection of order notes. The problem that occurs in Bayu Rattan is that the conventional system is still used and has not used information technology. Customers who want to buy rattan handicraft products come directly to the store, so sales services are only carried out during shop working hours. This study aims to produce a system that can facilitate the sale and ordering of rattan handicraft products using an e-commerce information system. The implementation of this E-Commerce Information System uses the PHP programming language and MySQL database. The results of this research can help and provide convenience in sales and ordering and can expand product-related information, so that it can increase product sales to be more effective because it can provide fast and complete information using website and webview technology as promotional media and information at the Bayu store.
