Abstract

ABSTRACT Sinar Kosmetik is a shop that is engaged in selling beauty products, especially cosmetics. This kind of sales business is certainly inseparable from business competition between one another. The most important thing in doing business is customer satisfaction. In the current sales operations, there are several obstacles, such as manual sales, which require customers to come to the store directly to make transactions. This is considered less effective and efficient and can make it difficult for prospective customers and customers. Disseminating information and also reaching a large target market will be difficult to do. In addition, data collection carried out by employees also uses books as a medium for recording transactions and products to be offered which are considered more risky such as books that can be lost, writing that is difficult to read and of course this requires more time in terms of data collection. Based on these problems, the proposed solution is to build a sales information system using a mobile web-based payment gateway built using the PHP programming language and MySQL as a database so that sales can also be made online. With this system, it is hoped that it will be able to make it easier for prospective customers and customers to process buying and selling transactions and make it easier in terms of data collection carried out by admins at Sinar Kosmetik.
