Abstract

Olahraga dilakukan untuk melatih tubuh manusia sehingga terasa lebih sehat dan kuat, baik secara jasmani maupun secara rohani. Kabupaten Cilacap saat ini masih kurang terjamah modernisasi. Memiliki potensi prestasi pada bidang olahraga, namun potensi itu menurun karena pemerintah kurang memfasilitasi pusat olahraga sesuai standar nasional. Oleh karena itu pemerintah Kabupaten Cilacap berencana membangun Pusat Olahraga yang berlokasi Di Sidanegara, Cilacap Tengah, untuk meningkatkan prestasi para atlet serta olahraga bagi masyarakat sekitar. Berangkat dari permasalahan pada perancangan fasilitas pusat olahraga kemudian diselesaikan dengan pendekatan Arsitektur High Tech, dengan mengaplikasikan teori Jenks C.1998 tentang Karakteristik High tech dan hasilnya diterapkan pada struktur, material, atap bangunan dan implementasi teknis bangunan sehingga ide desain ini mampu menjadikan fasilitas pusat olahraga yang mengikuti perkembangan teknologi, serta bisa menjadikan landmark Di Kabupaten Cilacap. Dengan adanya wadah baru pada pusat olahraga Di Kabupaten Cilacap, masyarakat dan atlet bisa menggunakan fasilitas ini sehingga bisa memunculkan atlet dan bibit baru bagi Kabupaten Cilacap sendiri. Penduduk dapat memanfaatkannya. Tujuan lainnya agar masyarakat lebih menggemari olahraga. Sport trains the human body to feel healthier and more robust, both physically and spiritually. Cilacap Regency is currently still less touched by modernization. It has the potential for achievement in sports, but that potential is decreasing because the government does not facilitate sports centres according to national standards. Therefore, the Cilacap Regency government plans to build a Sports Center located in Sidanegara, Central Cilacap, to improve the achievements of athletes and sports for the surrounding community. Departing from the problems in the design of sports center facilities and then solved with a High Tech Architecture approach, by applying Jenks C.1998's theory about the characteristics of high tech and the results are applied to the structure, materials, building roofs and technical implementation of the building. Hence, this design idea can make a sports center facility that follows technological developments and make landmarks in Cilacap Regency. With the existence of a new forum at the sports center in Cilacap Regency, the community and athletes can use this facility to produce new athletes and seeds for Cilacap Regency itself. Residents can take advantage of it.
