Abstract

Perkembangan suatu daerah selain ditandai dengan pertumbuhan jumlah penduduk juga adanya peningkatan sarana transportasi berupa bertumbuhnya jumlah kendaraan bermotor sebagai salah satu sarana masyarakat untuk melakukan aktifitas sehari-hari. Kebutuhan transportasi yang terlampau tinggi akan menimbulkan bermacam-macam masalah lalu lintas seperti kemacetan, kecelakaan, manajemen lalu lintas yang kurang optimal dan sebagainya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui nilai potensi awal kecelakaan, nilai potensi kecelakaan berat dan ringan, nilai potensi akhir kecelakaan, nilai faktor aman di perlintasan sebidang Jalan Timoho dan Jalan Diponegoro Wates menggunakan metode Railstreet Highway Grade Crossing. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada perlintasan sebidang ruas jalan Timoho dan jalan Diponegoro, Wates, Yogyakarta. Hasil dari pengamatan yaitu Tingkat kelengkapan rambu pada perlintasan jalan Timoho dan jalan Diponegoro Wates kurang lengkap seperti marka pita penggaduh (rumble strip) yang tidak ada di jalan Diponegoro Wates dan beberapa rambu yang kurang terlihat jelas karena terhalang pepohonan. Nilai potensi awal kecelakaan perlintasan sebidang Jalan Timoho yaitu 0,2918 untuk data 1 dan 0,305 untuk data 2. Sedangkan Jalan Diponegoro Wates yaitu 0,295 untuk data 1 dan 0,297 untuk data 2. Nilai potensi kecelakaan berat sebesar 15% untuk jalan Timoho dan 15% untuk jalan Diponegoro Wates. Sedangkan untuk kecelakaan ringan sebesar 4%. untuk jalan Timoho dan 4% untuk jalan Diponegoro Wates. Nilai potensi akhir kecelakaan perlintasan sebidang Jalan Timoho yaitu 0,186 untuk data 1 dan 0,189 untuk data 2. Sedangkan Jalan Diponegoro Wates yaitu 0,187 untuk data 1 dan 0,188 untuk data 2. Nilai faktor aman (Safety Index) di perlintasan sebidang Jalan Timoho yaitu 90 dan Jalan Diponegoro Wates 90, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa kedua perlintasan aman karena nilai Safety Index > 60 dan pada tahun yang diamati tidak tejadi kecelakaan. The need for too high transportation will cause traffic problems such as congestion, accidents, less than optimal traffic management, et cetera. The purpose of this study was to determine the initial potential value of an accident, the potential value of a severe and minor accident, the final potential value of an accident, the value of the safety factor at crossing a plot of Jalan Timoho and Jalan Diponegoro Wates using the Railstreet Highway Grade Crossing method. This research was conducted at the intersection of Timoho street and Diponegoro street, Wates, Yogyakarta. The results of the observations are that the level of completeness of the signs at the Timoho and Diponegoro Wates street crossings is incomplete, such as the rumble strip markings that are not on the Diponegoro Wates street and some signs that are not visible because trees block them. The initial potential value for crossing a plot of Timoho Street is 0.2918 for data 1 and 0.305 for data 2. Meanwhile, Diponegoro Wates Street is 0.295 for data 1 and 0.297 for data 2. The potential value of severe accidents is 15% for Timoho street and 15% for Diponegoro Wates Street. As for minor accidents by 4%. for Timoho Street and 4% for Diponegoro Wates Street. The final potential value for crossing a plot of Timoho Street is 0.186 for data 1 and 0.189 for data 2. Meanwhile, Diponegoro Wates Street is 0.187 for data 1 and 0.188 for data 2. The safety factor value (Safety Index) at crossing a plot of Timoho Street is 90 and Jalan Diponegoro Wates 90, so it can be concluded that both crossings are safe because the Safety Index value is > 60 and in the year observed, there were no accidents.
