Abstract

PENGENDALIAN KUALITAS PRODUK TIANG LAMPU DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE PLAN-DO-CHECK-ACTION DI CV MEGA JAYA LOGAM Josua Juniarto1, Ari Zaqi Al-Faritsy 2 1,Program Studi Teknik Industri, Fakultas Sains & Teknologi Universitas Teknologi Yogyakarta ABSTRAK CVMega Jaya Logam merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang pengecoran logam dengan salah satu produk yang dihasilkan berupa produk tiang lampu. Permasalahan yang saat ini dihadapi perusahaan yaitu pada produk cacat dari produksi tiang lampu, dari pengambilan data produksi pada tahun 2020 terdapat presentase defect sebesar 9%, sehingga perlu dilakukan tindakan perbaikan terlebih dahulu sebelum sampai ketangan konsumen. Defect yang dimaksud adalah tidak sinkron sebanyak 160 unit cacat dengan presentase 4%, Keropos sebanyak 68 unit cacat sebesar 2%, dan tidak presisi sebanyak 118 unit cacat sebesar 3%. Berdasarkan pengendalian kualitas dengan menggunakan metode PDCA dengan alat bantu seven tools dan Process Decision Program Chart (PDPC) pada produk tiang lampu di Cv. Mega Jaya logam. Diketahuai cacat tidak sinkron out of control diakibatkan karyawan sambil mengobrol saat proses produksi, salah dalam pembuatan ukuran lubang baut, getaran bor yang cukup kuat pada saat digunakan, dan area produksi yang panas. Tindakan perbaikan yang dilakukan terhadap kenerja karyawan dengan melakukan pengawasan terhadap proses produksi serta menambah cctv agar kepala bagian produksi tetap dapat mengontrol area produksi, perbaikan faktor metode dengan memberikan faselitas yang dapat membantu proses pengukuran lubang baut sehingga tidak terjadi kembali salah saat pembuatan lubang baut, perbaikan faktor lingkungan dengan menambah pendingin pada area produksi, dan pada faktor mesin melakukan perbaikan secara berkala terhadap mesin bor atau mengganti bor tangan dengan bor duduk agar saat proses pembuatan lubang baut bor tidak bergetar terlalu kencang. The problem currently faced by the company is the defective product from the production of lamp posts. From production data collection in 2020, there is a 9% defect percentage, so corrective action needs to be taken before the product reaches the consumer. The defects in question are out of sync as many as 160 defective units with a percentage of 4%, Porosity as many as 68 defective units at 2%, and imprecise as many as 118 defective units at 3%. Based on quality control using the PDCA method with seven tools and Process Decision Program Chart (PDPC) on lamp pole products in Cv. Mega Jaya metal, it is known that out of control defects are caused by employees chatting during the production process, incorrectly making bolt hole sizes, drilling vibrations that are quite strong when used, and hot production areas. Corrective actions taken on employee performance by supervising the production process and adding CCTV so that the head of the production department can still control the production area, improvement of method factors by providing facilitation that can help the process of measuring bolt holes so that mistakes do not happen again when making bolt holes, repairs environmental factors by adding coolers to the production area, and on the machine factor making periodic repairs to the drilling machine or replacing hand drills with sitting drills so that during the process of making the drill bolt holes it does not vibrate too tightly Keywords: Quality, Quality Control, PDCA, Seven Tools
