Abstract

ANALISIS BUFFER STOCK MENGGUNAKAN METODE KANBAN DAN JUNBIKI Studi Kasus Pada CV Rejeki Agung Sabrina Egidia Maharani 1, Widya Setiafindari 2 1,Program Studi Teknik Industri, Fakultas Sains & Teknologi Universitas Teknologi Yogyakarta ABSTRAK CV Rejeki Agung merupakan perusahaan manufaktur yang bergerak di bidang produksi gula batu. Perusahaan ini memiliki permasalahan pengendalian persediaan yaitu pada waktu proses operasi yang tidak efisien karena jumlah tenaga kerja yaitu 2 orang yang mengendalikan 3 aliran perpindahan persediaan, dengan adanya ketidaksesuaian tenaga kerja dengan jumlah aliran perpindahan membuat pemborosan waktu proses produksi selama 30 menit. Dalam penelitian ini menganalisis tentang pengendalian persediaan dengan mengacu pada kebutuhan tenaga kerja, luas area dan waktu. Dari permasalahan tersebut penelitian ini menggunakan metode Kanban dan metode Junbiki. Metode Kanban dengan menentukan jumlah Kanban, perhitungan Buffer Stock dan perhitungan Lead time, kemudian Metode Junbiki menentukan take time,Lead time, Kebutuhan ruang, dan perhitungan Man power. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data dari metode Kanban memerlukan tenaga kerja sebanyak 2 orang yang bekerja di bagian bahan baku utama dan bagian produksi, untuk metode Junbiki tenaga kerja yang dibutuhkan sebanyak 1 orang yang bekerja pada penyimpanan bahan baku, maka dari itu metode Junbiki dapat mengurangi kebutuhan tenaga kerja sebanyak 1 orang. Kemudian perbandingan pada persediaan bahan baku, yang dilihat berdasarkan kebutuhan luas area dengan metode Kanban mereduksi 45 M2 sedangkan untuk metode Junbiki 35 M2, maka metode Junbiki mereduksi kebutuhan luas area sebanyak 10 M2. Dari keseluruhan perhitungan maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode Junbiki lebih efektif jika diterapkan oleh perusahaan dibandingkan dengan metode Kanban. This company has inventory control problems, namely when the operating process is inefficient because the number of workers totaling 2 people controls 3 inventory movement flows. The existence of a mismatch of labor with the number of transfer flows makes the production process time waste of 30 minutes. This study analyzes inventory control with reference to labor requirements, area and time. This study uses the Kanban method and the Junbiki method. Kanban method by determining the number of Kanban, Buffer Stock calculation and Lead time calculation, then Junbiki Method determines take time, Lead time, space requirements, and calculation of Man power. Based on the results of data processing from the Kanban method, 2 people are needed who work in the main raw material and production sections, for the Junbiki method, 1 person works on raw material storage. Therefore the Junbiki method can reduce the need for labor by 1 person. Then the comparison of raw material inventory, which is seen based on the need for area with the Kanban method reduces 45 M2 while for the Junbiki method 35 M2, the Junbiki method reduces the area requirement by 10 M2. From the whole calculation, it can be concluded that the Junbiki method is more effective if applied by the company compared to the Kanban method.
