Abstract
ABSTRACT Batik "Ekio Store" is a business engaged in clothing, especially batik. Currently, the process of selling Batik "Ekio Store" takes a long time when there are many buyers so that it can affect the quality of customer service. Then the sales recapitulation process from Batik “Ekio Store” only uses copies of notes from sales that have occurred and is susceptible to damage in the future such as faded writing on copies of sales notes. Based on this, it is necessary to have a point of sale (POS) system that can facilitate customer service in transactions and has a more structured summary of sales data. The system that will be built can do several things such as inputting item codes using a barcode scanner tool or application, performing add, edit, and delete operations on item data, compiling sales reports, with daily, weekly and even annual periods and compiling reports on available stock. Point Of Sale system can be implemented using MySQL and PHP.
