Abstract

ABSTRAK Sejak tahun 2020, pandemi Covid-19 melanda banyak negara di dunia, tidak terkecuali Indonesia. Hal tersebut mengakibatkan munculnya beberapa kebijakan berupa Pembatasan Sosial Berskala Besar (PSBB) di beberapa provinsi, kabupaten dan kota sesuai dengan tingkat penyebaran resikonya. Pandemi Covid-19 tidak hanya berdampak pada perekonomian saja namun juga berdampak terhadap perilaku manusia pada saat melakukan aktivitas di kawasan ruang terbuka publik seperti halnya peraturan untuk menjaga jarak dan memakai masker. Tujuan penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk pengaruh aktivitas wisata terhadap pola penggunaan ruang di Kawasan Malioboro pada masa pandemi, khususnya dalam konteks waktu siang dan malam, serta pada hari weekdays (hari kerja) dan weekend (akhir pekan). Dengan mengetahui bentuk dari pengaruh aktivitas wisata terhadap pola penggunaan ruang tersebut, penelitian ini dapat turut mengkaji kesiapan tempat wisata dalam menghadapi pandemi seperti keamanan dan fasilitas kebersihan di Kawasan Malioboro pada masa pandemi. Teknik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik analisis data kualitatif dengan memanfaatkan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan telaah pustaka. Hasil dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa intensitas yang paling tinggi penggunaan ruangnya adalah pada hari libur khususnya di malam hari, sedangkan intensitas paling rendah adalah pada siang hari di hari weekdays. Lokasi penggunaan ruang yang paling padat digunakan adalah di titik Nol Kilometer, hal ini didukung oleh lokasi yang strategis dan ruang yang luas. Dilihat dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan adanya pandemi Covid-19 tidak terlalu berpengaruh terhadap pola penggunaan ruang dan pola sebaran aktivitas di Kawasan Malioboro, selain tambahan penggunaan ruang untuk penempatan beberapa fasilitas mencuci tangan dan aktivitas petugas yang berjaga untuk mengurangi resiko penyebaran Covid-19 secara priodik. Kata kunci: pola, penggunaan ruang, nol kilometer, Malioboro, pandemi ABSTRACT Since 2020, the Covid-19 pandemic has hit many countries in the world, including Indonesia. This has resulted the emergence of several policies in the form of Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) in several provinces, districts and cities according to the level of risk distribution. The Covid-19 pandemic does not only have an impact on the economic life but also has on human behavior when carrying out activities in public open spaces such as regulations for maintaining distance and wearing masks. The purpose of this study aims to describe the shape of the influence of tourism activities on the pattern of space use in the Malioboro area during the pandemic, especially in the context of day and night, as well as on weekdays and weekends. By knowing the shape of the influence of tourism activities on the pattern of space use, this study can also examine the readiness of tourist attractions in dealing with the pandemic, such as security and cleaning facilities in the Malioboro area during the pandemic. The technique used in this study is a qualitative data analysis technique by utilizing data collection techniques in such as observation, interviews, documentation, and literature review. The results in this study indicate that the highest intensity of space use is on weekend especially at night, while the lowest intensity is during the day on weekdays. The location of the most densely used space is at the Nol Kilometer point, this is supported by a strategic location and wide space. Judging from the results of the research conducted, the Covid-19 pandemic did not really affect the pattern of space use and the pattern of distribution of activities in the Malioboro Area, in addition to the additional use of the room for the placement of several hand washing facilities and the activities of officers on guard to reduce the risk of spreading Covid-19 periodically.
