Abstract

IMPLEMENTATION OF WEB-BASED INFORMATION SYSTEM OF TUNAS JASMINE LIBRARY (Case Study: SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Ngadirejo) Azis Pambudi Information Systems Study Program, Faculty of Science & Technology University of Technology Yogyakarta Jl. Ringroad Utara Jombor Sleman Yogyakarta E-mail : azispampam@gmail.com ABSTRACT Muhammadiyah 3 Ngadirejo Junior High School (SMP) was established on April 1, 1978. It is located at Jl. Raya Ngadirejo No. 37, Demangan Ngadirejo, Temanggung Regency. The Muhammadiyah Middle School Library was established to meet the needs of educational information, knowledge and services to students at school in the form of print media. However, in managing the administrative data of the Tunas Melati Library there are still many obstacles because it uses a conventional system in the form of a spreadsheet so that data is prone to loss or damage and can hinder the service process for students. Therefore it is necessary to have a website-based system that supports library operational activities. So a system was created that could provide a solution to assist officers in managing library administrative data, using the waterfall method it is hoped that the design of the Tunas Melati Library system can be more efficient in managing book data, member data, and loan transactions. The design of this web-based information system uses the programming language PHP and MySQL as the database. This web-based library system is expected to be able to overcome various problems that occurred before at the Tunas Melati Library, SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Ngadirejo.
