Abstract
DESIGN OF A WEB-BASED CAR WORKSHOP INVENTORY INFORMATION SYSTEM (Case Study: LBS AUTO SERVICE) Muhammad Dwi Jaya, Rr. Ringroad Utara Jombor Sleman Yogyakarta E-mail : handsomeboy5755@gmail.com hajarsejati01@gmail.com ABSTRACT LBS Auto Service is a business entity engaged in car maintenance and repair services. Repairs carried out by LBS Auto Service are repairs to engines, electrical systems, and parts. In the process of servicing customers who come to repair or pick up their cars, they experience various problems in repairing their cars. However, these repairs sometimes do not go according to plan, causing various complaints from customers. Customer complaints that occur, for example, the brand of spare parts stock that the customer wants or the request from the customer is empty, so car repairs are carried out by the customer buying the spare parts brand outside the workshop, which can cause time delays. This problem must be solved using the inventory method to make it more efficient and effective by designing an information system that specifically manages the problem of reporting data on inventory and car repairs. This information system was built using the PHPmyadmin database. This information system can be accessed anywhere and anytime to provide fast and accurate information needed by customers. The information needed by these customers such as the availability of goods with various brands, car maintenance schedules, pick-up schedules, and payment details. So that with this system the car repair shop can solve this problem and can improve service to customers. Keywords: Design, Information Systems, Inventory, Workshop
