Abstract
As a solution to transportation problems in urban areas with a sustainable concept, Trans Jogja was developed with the hope of becoming the best mode of transportation to be applied in the city of Yogyakarta. However, as far as research related to the sustainability status of Trans Jogja has not been carried out specifically. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to examine the sustainability aspect of Trans Jogja in terms of the economic aspect; social; regulatory and institutional aspects; environment; technology and infrastructure. The analysis in this study uses the Multi-dimensional Scaling (MDS) method to evaluate the sustainability indicators of Trans Jogja public transportation using Rapfish software. The results of the analysis show that the condition of Trans Jogja is in the status of the less sustainable category with an index score of 49.54. The environmental aspect has the lowest score with an index of 34.21 in the less sustainable category, while the other four aspects are quite sustainable. Therefore, planning and policies are needed that can improve the sustainability indicators of Trans Jogja's environmental aspects. This will prevent a domino effect which will later have an impact on other aspects and worsen the condition of Trans Jogja sustainability.
