Abstract

ABSTRACT Holistic Kids PAUD is a school in Manokwari Regency, West Papua. Holistic Kids PAUD has a problem in the form of the registration process which does not have a website and still uses old and manual registration procedures. The purpose of this research is to change the manual registration system into a website that makes it easier for parents to register their children effectively and can be accessed anywhere and can easily get information instantly, as well as the school can verify student data accurately and quickly. This research resulted in the registration process for prospective students and the verification process being online. The system for building websites is a system that uses the PHP programming language, Ms Visual, MySql Database, Notepad++ Text Editor and the CodeIgniter Framework with the Waterfall model with the stages of analysis, design, coding and testing. A system that has been built will go through the testing stages, the testing stages are carried out using Black Box testing. Black box testing is intended to determine whether the function of the software can run properly and as expected. The test results using the black box show that the application can run as needed, that is, it can register with the biodata form, student data is stored in the database, manage selection and display announcements of selection results. The application can produce printed documents in the form of several forms for document archive needs. The results of this study are a web-based new student admissions information system, which can provide information on new student admissions or registration and can be accessed online without being limited by space and time. From the researchers also with this web-based new student admissions information system, schools can streamline school spending, make it easier for parents to register their children without the need to come to school and make it easier for the school to store and verify data on prospective new students.
