Abstract

ABSTRACT SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Mlati is one of the junior high schools (SMP) in Sleman Regency which was founded in 1986. The process of admitting new students at SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Mlati has so far been manual, namely prospective students are required to come to SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Mlati for the registration process with how to enter data in writing on the registration form. Announcement of acceptance results is only informed through the school announcement board which also allows registrants to be crowded. The goal achieved is to build a New Student Admissions Information System for SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Mlati which can process registration data for prospective new students, as well as making it easier for PPDB officers in the process of filtering the value of applicants automatically. It also to make it easier for prospective applicants to register at SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Mlati through a website that has been created by researchers. The method used by researchers (Observation and interviews) is by providing questions to the school principal which can be used as a source of data relevant to research. The analysis of the interviews and observations obtained was used to design a new admissions system. The results of designing a website-based new student admissions system, producing features for data input, updating data, deleting data, and user verification and have been implemented well according to their functions.
