Abstract

Madjoe Lantjar Rental Vespa Jogja Is a service provider business engaged in motorbike rental. The motorbike rental business is currently growing with the large number of tourists visiting big cities, one of which is Yogyakarta. Many tourists come using public transportation such as planes, buses and trains. Therefore Madjoe Lantjar provides motorbike rental services, especially automatic Vespa motorbikes for tourists who want to go around enjoying tourist attractions in Yogyakarta and its surroundings. The problem that occurs is service that is less than optimal and limited information on the availability of motorbikes and rental prices. In the current system, customers must inquire about the availability of goods and the lack of clarity about rental prices. This can make customers feel uncomfortable when they want to rent a motorbike and have to take longer to rent. This research aims to build an Android-based motorbike rental application where later this application can facilitate customers and owners in the transaction process and the leasing process. There are implementation stages used to design this rental system, namely: data collection, analysis and design, programming and testing. Making this system uses the Java language and Programming Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP) using the MySql database. Making this application can make it easier for owners to manage rental data and control rental and return reports.
