Abstract
This study analyzes the dysphemism expressions found in the 2019 movie, Good Boys. The writer of this study discusses three problems: 1. What are the types of dysphemism found in the Good Boys movie? 2. What are the dominant types of dysphemism found in the Good Boys movie? This final paper uses descriptive qualitative methods, where note-taking and observation were used to collect the data from the movie. The data of this final paper were identified and described based on Lars Andersson and Peter Trudgill's theory that were divided into four types, namely abusive, expletive, humorous, and auxiliary. There are 111 pieces of data found in the movie which are included in the four types of dysphemism based on Lars Andersson and Peter Trudgill's theory. The writer discovered 45 terms of abusive type, 24 terms of expletive type, 23 terms of humorous type, and 19 terms of auxiliary type.
