Abstract
Following the disastrous landslide events in the District of Karanganyar 2008. The team from institution are dealing with geological, meteorological, technical, socio-cultural and natural disaster aspects. The team is intended to be the technical assistance team for disaster mitigation with the main task is to make a better preventive as well as represive counter measure against disaster through prediction, early warning, preparedness and anticipations. Realizing that floods and landslide are the prominent disasters usually happen during rainy seasons. He landslide prediction map was intensively discussed to get some slight modification. For more precise prediction and better distribution of information (early warning), regional early warning network should be established, Local early warning network should be established and installing early warning equipment (monitoring) at risky areas. This system join in information system mitigation landslide prediction by telemetri as like seluler, internet and wireless radio.
