Abstract
The library is a medium for creating and increasing the reading interest of the local sons and daughters. This regional library is located in the city center of Pemalang Regency, and usually this library goes around lending the existing collection of books by coming to the location of borrowing members who are in the Pemalang Regency area, from those in the middle of the city to remote areas. The problems that arise are the complicated registration process, and also the part for recording loan transactions and returning books that have not been computerized. The purpose of this research is to build a Web-Based Library Information System. This library system can provide convenience to members and officers in registering as well as borrowing and returning books at the library. There are implementation stages used in designing the library's website, namely: data collection, analysis and design, program development, system testing, analysis and conclusions. The system that was built was according to user needs with the test results stating that 31 respondents 90% agreed.
