Abstract

Financial institutions have a very important role in the context of encouraging the achievement of national goals related to increasing and equalizing people's living standards. One of them is by providing credit loan facilities which can be a source of income capital or income for the community. Financial institutions are divided into 2 (two), namely bank financial institutions and non-bank financial institutions. PT BPR Bank Daerah Gunungkidul is one example of a bank financial institution. PT BPR Bank Daerah Gunungkidul is an institution that can distribute loans both for business capital and for consumptive purposes. To avoid unwanted things related to credit applications, PT PBR Bank Daerah Gunungkidul must be careful in providing credit to prospective debtors. One of them is by conducting a 5C analysis consisting of Character, Capacity, Capital, Condition of Economics, and Collateral. The purpose of this research is to know and evaluate the systems and procedures for granting general credit at PT BPR Bank Daerah Gunungkidul. The results of this study indicate that (1) The system and procedures for granting general credit at PT BPR Bank Daerah Gunungkidul have not been fully implemented in accordance with the guidelines for operational activities of PT BPR Bank Daerah Gunungkidul. (2) Examination of the SID (Debtor Information System) is only carried out on credit with a certain loan value. (3) There are still employees who are less competent in carrying out their duties.
