Abstract

IMPLEMENTATION OF WEB-BASED RIFTING EQUIPMENT INFORMATION SYSTEM (CASE STUDY: CV. KOMPAS ADVENTURE MAGELANG) Irfan Dwi Anto, Ahmad Tri Hidayat Information Systems Study Program, Faculty of Science & Technology University of Technology Yogyakarta Jl. Ringroad Utara Jombor Sleman Yogyakarta E-mail: irfanlamsel@gmail.com ABSTRACT CV. Kompas Adventure is a rafting equipment rental business engaged in services in Magelang. In carrying out its business activities, Kompas Adventure still uses a conventional system. Thus, information on the availability of tools, rental schedules and recording is not optimal, still using books, and the data is not necessarily accurate. In addition, customers also have to come to the location directly to find out information and a list of available tools. This business is still in the development stage, therefore it requires an information system for rafting equipment rental to convey information and data processing that can support the rental process. In making the Implementation of the Web-Based Rafting Equipment Rental Information System, SublimeText3 software was used for the text editor, the server package used XAMPP, the database was made with MySQL, and the programming language PHP, HTML, and the CodeIgniter 3 framework with a design using CSS bootstrap. The result of this research is a web-based information system for rafting equipment rental which is expected to simplify and improve customers and is expected to help customers and business development in conveying information and data processing which can improve the rafting equipment rental process at CV.
