Abstract

ABSTRACT At this time, the development and need for computer-based information is needed. The computerized system is certainly inseparable from its advantages and disadvantages. Segara Pancing itself does not yet have a computerized system because it still uses a conventional sales system by directly serving buyers who come to the store, as well as recording goods and sales reports still using handwritten bookkeeping. Thus, this results in a lack of information that can be accessed by customers and the vulnerability of bookkeeping data that is easily damaged and lost. With the existence of a fishing equipment sales information system, it is hoped that it will be able to solve problems that exist in fishing tackle, such as being able to assist customers in accessing information on products sold on fishing tackle and being able to secure important data on fishing tackle. As well as making it easier for buyers to buy and order fishing equipment, an information system is needed so that buyers also get the equipment or products that suit their wishes. This final project aims to design and build a fishing equipment sales system using the PHP programming language and MySQL database. In the fishing equipment sales information system there are purchase transaction features, data storage and sales report generation. It is hoped that the results of this final project can answer the difficulties that often occur to buyers regarding product information and make it easier for employees to enter and process data on fishing tackle.
