Abstract

IMPLEMENTATION OF WEB-BASED POS (POINT OF SALES) INFORMATION SYSTEM (Case Study: Indika Pharmacy Sleman Yogyakarta) Ari Suganda, Ahmad Tri Hidayat Information Systems Study Program, Faculty of Science & Technology University of Technology Yogyakarta Jl. Ringroad Utara Jombor Sleman Yogyakarta E-mail: sugandachanel01@gmail.com ABSTRACT Indika Pharmacy is one of the businesses engaged in the retail industry that sells various types of medicines such as children's fever medicine, fever medicine and others. This shop is located on Jl. KRT Pringgodiningrat, Patent, Tridadi, Sleman District, Sleman Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta. Data recording is the most important thing in a business engaged in the retail sector. Data recording to facilitate retail business when assisted by a POS (Point Of Sales) system. So, it is necessary to design a system so that the Indika Sleman Yogyakarta Pharmacy can run its business, especially in the process of recording transactions, sales and purchase reports which still use books or notes to record transactions. However, it often happens that there are outgoing goods or incoming goods that are not recorded. This in the long run will cause big losses. The purpose of this study is to build a system that functions to help provide information that makes it easy to control the process of recording transactions, sales and purchase reports according to the specified time period at Indika Pharmacy Sleman Yogyakarta.
