Abstract

DEVELOPMENT OF IMPORT & EXPENDITURE TRANSACTION INFORMATION SYSTEM FOR WEB-BASED PROFIT AND LOSS FINANCIAL REPORTING (Case Study: Rg Company, Yogyakarta) Rio Rizaldi Information Systems Study Program, Faculty of Science & Technology University of Technology Yogyakarta Jl. Ringroad Utara Jombor Sleman Yogyakarta E-mail: riorizaldi21@gmail.com ABSTRACT The Rg Company mobile shop has problems monitoring income in real time so it does not support monitoring every movement of income, including in a profit or loss position for the company. This is because the entry of the income recording system is running manually by recording all transactions through sales notes and then they will be recapitulated into Microsoft Excel. Therefore, we need an information system that can be a media for recording incoming & outgoing goods, managing goods sales data and calculating profit and loss as a media for financial accounting systems. The method used in system design is waterfall. The system built is a web-based system which can provide information on the movement of the company's income and provide information on the condition of the company's profit and loss in real time and can help and simplify controlling the goods transaction activities carried out by the Rg Company. System testing uses the black box testing method with an accuracy value of 100% from 41 unit tests or test scenarios. The developed system is able to manage product data, transaction data, operational data and produce a real-time income statement information.
