Abstract

ABSTRAK Faktor yang menjadi potensi terjadinya kecelakaan kerja di PT Madu Baru PG. Madukismo ialah bahwa pada area penggiling produksi belum menerapkan 5S secara keseluruhan seperti banyaknya barang yang belum tersusun dengan rapi, area kerja yang kotor dan kurangnya perhatian terhadap alat pelindung diri (APD). Usulan penerapan program 5S yang diterapkan pada setiap area penggilingan produksi yang berada di PT. Madu Baru dengan penerapan yang pertama yaitu dengan melakukan seiri atau pemilahan item pada setiap area kerja sehingga barang-barang yang tidak diperlukan disingkirkan dari area kerja. Penerapan yang kedua yaitu seiton atau penataan dilakukan agar peralatan yang disimpan terlihat lebih rapi agar menghindari potensi kecelakaan kerja terpleset benda yang brantakan. Usulan penerapan yang ketiga ialah seiso atau pembersihan, pembersihan yang diusulkan dengan memberikan tanggung jawab pada setiap operator memiliki tanggung jawab pada setiap area kerjanya sehingga area kerja terlihat bersih dan nyaman ketika melakukan pekerjaan. Penerapan selanjutnya yaitu seiketsu dengan pemberian label warna, batas pada benda, pembuatan Standard Operational Procedure (SOP) dan memberikan pemeriksaan secara harian bagi owner. Penerpan shitsuke dengan melakukan aktifitas audit 5S. pengimplementasian safety dilakukan ketika setelah penerapan 5S berjalan sesuai standar yang telah ditetapkan maka dapat mengurangi potensi kecelakaan kerja yang terjadi pada setiap area kerja. Kata kunci: Kesehatan dan Keselamatan Kerja (K3), Metode 5S, Kecelakaan Kerja ABSTRACT Factors that have the potential for work accidents at PT Madu Baru PG Madukismo is that the production mill area has not implemented 5S as a whole. Such as many items all over the place, the work area being dirty, and the lack of attention to personal protective equipment (PPE). It proposes implementing a 5S program applied to each production mill area at PT Madu Baru, with the first implementation, by Seiri or sorting items in each work area so that unnecessary items are removed from the work area. The second application, Seiton or arrangement, is carried out so that the equipment stored looks neater to avoid the potential for work accidents to slip on cluttered objects. The third implementation proposal is Seiso or cleaning. The proposed cleaning is by giving each operator responsibility for each work area so that the work area looks clean and comfortable when doing work. The following application is Seiketsu giving color labels, and boundaries on objects, making Standard Operational Procedures (SOP), and providing daily checks for the owner—implementation of Shitsuke by conducting 5S audit activities. Implementation of safety is carried out when after implementing 5S according to predetermined standards, it can reduce the potential for workplace accidents that occur in each work area.
