Abstract

ABSTRAK PT PLN (Persero) merupakan salah satu perusahaan Badan Usaha Milik Negara (BUMN) yang mengelola kelistrikan di Indonesia mulai dari pembangkit, penyaluran, pendistribusian, dan penjualan energi listrik. Losses sistem tenaga listrik dapat diidentifikasi sebagai energi yang hilang baik secara teknis maupun non teknis, salah satu faktor yang menyebabkan losses karena adanya kerusakan jaringan distribusi. Besarnya losses distribusi di PT PLN (Persero) UP3 Magelang pada periode tahun 2021 yaitu sebesar 121.272.745 kWh atau 8,21 % terjadinya losses ini selain menyebabkan kerugian pihak PLN juga dapat merugikan pihak pelanggan karena menyebabkan pelayanan penggunaan listrik menjadi terganggu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) untuk menelusuri kerusakan dan gangguan pada sistem jaringan distribusi listrik dan metode Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) untuk mengidentifikasi kerusakan pada proses yang paling potensial dengan mendeteksi modus, penyebab, dan efek kerusakan. Berdasarkan hasil FTA terdapat penyebab kerusakan jaringan listrik yaitu gangguan alam, gangguan binatang, kesalahan instalasi, gangguan manusia, gangguan material, dan gangguan peralatan. Dari pengolahan FMEA didapatkan bahwa kerusakan pada tiang listrik merupakan prioritas tertinggi berdasarkan perhitungan RPN dengan nilai sebesar 180. Usulan perbaikan terhadap kerusakan jaringan distribusi listrik yaitu pemeriksaan peralatan jaringan distribusi secara terjadwal untuk mengantisipasi kerusakan, penggantian saluran distribusi listrik dari saluran udara ke ground wire, program pendataan daya trafo, program perencanaan distribusi sisip, penambahan alat thermovision, instalasi jaringan yang harus sesuai prosedur dan standar yang ditetapkan, dan pemasangan capasitor bank yaitu alat berfungsi untuk meningkatkan power factor yang akan mempengaruhi besarnya arus yang dialirkan sehingga dapat mengurangi rugi daya. IDENTIFICATION OF CAUSES OF ELECTRICITY LOSS IN THE DISTRIBUTION NETWORK USING FAULT TREE ANALYSIS AND FAILURE MODE AND EFFECT ANALYSIS METHODS ABSTRACT PT PLN (Persero) is one of the state-owned companies (BUMN) that manages electricity in Indonesia, starting from the generation, transmission, distribution, and sale of electrical energy. Power system losses can be identified as lost energy, both technically and non-technically, one of the factors that cause losses due to damage to the distribution network. The distribution losses at PT PLN (Persero) UP3 Magelang in 2021 are 121,272,745 kWh or 8.21%. Apart from causing losses to the PLN, these losses can also harm the customer because it disrupts electricity usage services. This study uses the Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) method to track damage and disturbances in the power distribution network system and the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method to identify the potential damage to processes by detecting the mode, cause, and effect of the damage. Based on the results of the FTA, there are causes of damage to the electrical network, namely natural disturbances, animal disturbances, installation errors, human disturbances, material disturbances, and equipment disturbances. From the FMEA processing, it was found that damage to power poles is the highest priority based on RPN calculations with a value of 180. Proposals for repairs to damage to the electricity distribution network are scheduled inspections of distribution network equipment to anticipate damage, replacement of electricity distribution lines from air ducts to ground wire, program transformer power data collection, inline distribution planning program, the addition of thermovision devices, network installations that must comply with established procedures and standards, and installation of capacitor banks. These devices increase power, affecting the current flow to reduce power losses. Keywords: Distribution Loss, Fault Tree Analysis, Failure Mode, and Effect Analysis.
