Abstract

ABSTRACT Car Rental is a business entity in the field of vehicle rental services in the form of private cars. Car loan and return information system on CV. Mugi-Mugi Berkah Travel is considered ineffective because the recording of borrowing data, return data, and daily transactions along with reports is still done in writing using books and paper so that this information system is not efficient in saving time, effort and materials. This study aims to determine the system that is running, make system design and to know the implementation of the results of the information system design that is built. This study aims to build a web-based car rental information system on CV. Mugi-Mugi Travel Blessings. In building the system a structured approach method using the prototype development method where the data collection techniques used are observation and interviews. As an analysis and design tool used are flowmaps, context diagrams, and data flow diagrams. While the supporting software used is Visual Study Code, Xampp, and SQLyog. The results of the research at CV. Mugi-Mugi Berkah Travel can be concluded that by building an information system for borrowing and returning cars, it is hoped that it can assist employees in managing customer data, borrowing, returning and can reduce errors in the data recording process and reduce errors in reporting Keywords : Information System, Car Rental, Rental
