Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi penurunan mutu produk kulit dan memberikan saran perbaikan untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang berkaitan dengan produksi. Dari segi teknologi produksi masih terdapat permasalahan pada produk perusahaan sehingga tingkat kesalahan masih di atas baku mutu. Perusahaan harus membatasi pemborosan produk maksimal 0,5% dari total produksi. Cacat yang terjadi adalah cacat sobek, rapuh dan kotor yang disebabkan oleh penyimpangan proses produksi. Metode analisis pohon kesalahan berfungsi sebagai dasar untuk analisis dan pengendalian proses untuk mengidentifikasi faktor masalah dalam produksi. Dari hasil analisis diagram pareto penyebab kecacatan dapat dilihat dari 3 jenis cacat produk yang paling sering terjadi adalah jenis cacat kotor dengan presentase 28%, jenis cacat sobek dengan persentase 29%, dan jenis cacat rapuh dengan persentase 43%. Saran termasuk melakukan perawatan rutin pada mesin, memperluas informasi pelatihan dan evaluasi pengguna, menambahkan kipas ke area produksi dan memilih pemasok berkualitas. Mengintegrasikan metode analisis pohon kesalahan secara umum dapat membantu mengetahui bagaimana memecahkan masalah kualitas pada akar masalahnya. Kata kunci: Fault Tree Analysis, Kualitas, Diagram Pareto Abstract The research aims to determine the factors that influence the decline in the quality of leather products and provide suggestions for improvements to overcome problems related to production. In terms of production technology, there are still problems with the company's products so that the error rate is still above the quality standard. Companies must limit product wastage to a maximum of 0.5% of total production. Defects that occur are torn, brittle and dirty defects caused by irregularities in the production process. The fault tree analysis method serves as the basis for process analysis and control to identify problem factors in production. From the results of the pareto chart analysis the causes of defects can be seen from the 3 types of product defects that most often occur are gross defects with a percentage of 28%, torn defects with a percentage of 29%, and brittle defects with a percentage of 43%. Suggestions include performing routine maintenance on machines, extending user evaluation and training information, adding fans to production areas and selecting quality suppliers. Integrating common fault tree analysis methods can help to know how to solve quality problems at their root. Keywords: Fault Tree Analysis, Quality, Pareto Diagram
