Abstract

ABSTRAK PT Mitra Rekatama Mandiri merupakan perusahan pengecoran logam yang memproduksi produk Engine Pulley Yst Pro. Pada Januari 2023 hingga Februari 2023, produk Engine Pulley Yst Pro di PT Mitra Rekatama Mandiri memiliki presentase cacat sebesar 6,4% melebihi maksimal sasaran kualitas perusahaan sebesar 3%, sehingga membutuhkan pengendalian. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah sebagai upaya pengendalian kualitas untuk mengurangi jumlah cacat produk Engine Pulley Yst Pro di PT Mitra Rekatama Mandiri. Metode Seven Tools dan Five M Checklist digunakan sebagai alat pengendalian kualitas dengan mengidentifikasikan akar masalah kecacatan melalui 7 tools (checksheet, stratifikasi, histogram, diagram scatter, peta kendali, diagram pareto, fishbone) kemudian memberikan saran perbaikan berdasarkan faktor-faktor penyebabnya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, terdapat tiga jenis cacat yaitu cacat keropos, cacat rantap, dan cacat bentuk tidak sesuai, dengan jumlah cacat 899 unit. Diagram pareto menghasilkan jenis cacat yang paling banyak terjadi adalah cacat rantap dengan presentase 43% yaitu sebanyak 386 unit. Faktor penyebab dari cacat keropos adalah manusia, material, metode, dan lingkungan. Faktor penyebab dari cacat rantap adalah manusia, material, metode, mesin, dan lingkungan. Faktor penyebab dari cacat bentuk tidak sesuai adalah manusia, metode, mesin, dan lingkungan. Berdasarkan faktor penyebab, diberikan saran perbaikan menggunakan analisis Five M Checklist yang berfokus memperbaiki lima faktor penyebab, yaitu manusia, metode, material, mesin, dan lingkungan dalam memproduksi produk Engine Pulley Yst Pro. From January 2023 to February 2023, the Engine Pulley Yst Pro product at PT Mitra Rekatama Mandiri has a defect percentage of 6.4% exceeding the company's maximum quality target of 3%, so it requires control. The purpose of this research is as a quality control effort to reduce the number of product defects Engine Pulley Yst Pro at PT Mitra Rekatama Mandiri. The Seven Tools and Five M Checklist methods are used as quality control tools by identifying the root causes of defects through 7 tools (checksheet, stratification, histogram, scatter diagram, control chart, pareto diagram, fishbone) then providing suggestions for improvement based on the causative factors. Based on the results of the study, there were three types of defects, namely porous defects, multiple defects, and inappropriate deformities, with a total of 899 defects. The Pareto diagram produces the most common type of defect, namely multiple defects with a percentage of 43%, namely 386 units. The causative factors of porous defects are human, material, method, and environment. The causative factors of multiple defects are humans, materials, methods, machines, and the environment. The causative factors of inappropriate deformities are humans, methods, machines, and the environment. Based on the causal factors, suggestions for improvement are given using the Five M Checklist analysis which focuses on improving the five causal factors, namely people, methods, materials, machines, and the environment in producing the Pulley Yst Pro Engine product.
