Abstract

ABSTRAK Pengendalian kualitas adalah salah satu kegiatan mengukur dan mengawasi yang dilakukan mulai dari pemilihan bahan, proses pembuatan hingga produk jadi. Diketahui pada bulan Juli 2022 - Februari 2023 jumlah produk reject yang ditemukan di CV Lotus Glove sebesar 8,42%. Oleh karena dari itu, tujuan dari dilakukannya penelitian ini untuk mengetahui faktor yang menjadi penyebab timbulnya cacat produk dan strategi perbaikannya dalam meminimalkan timbulnya produk cacat. Metode yang digunakan untuk menganalisis pengendalian kualitas di CV Lotus Glove yaitu metode statistical quality control dan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan kerusakan / produk reject yaitu menggunakan metode 5W+1H. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data, faktor-faktor yang menjadi penyebab timbulnya cacat produk yang paling dominan adalah faktor man yaitu tidak mengikuti SOP yang berlaku, kurang fokus dan tergesa-gesa. Faktor method yaitu menggunakan teknik jahitan yang berbeda. Faktor material yaitu menggunakan bahan baku kulit atapun benang yang berkualitas rendah. Faktor machine yaitu intensitas perawatan dan pengecekkan yang kurang selain itu jumlah teknisi perawatan mesin juga kurang memadai. Selanjutnya usulan strategi perbaikan yang dapat dilakukan yaitu dengan memperbaharui Standart Operating Procedure (SOP) baik dalam pemilihan bahan baku ataupun teknik menjahit dan inspeksi saat proses produksi, mengadakan program peningkatan kemampuan karyawan, implementasikan pemeriksaan berkelanjutan pada setiap tahapan produksi dan mesin produksi, dan melakukan peninjauan ulang bahan baku yang sesuai dengan standar perusahaan. ABSTRACT Quality control is one of the measuring and monitoring activities carried out starting from the selection of materials, the manufacturing process to the finished product. It is known that in July 2022 - February 2023 the number of rejected products found at CV Lotus Glove was 8.42%. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to find out the factors that cause product defects and their repair strategies to minimize the occurrence of defective products. The method used to analyze quality control at CV Lotus Glove is the statistical quality control method and to identify the factors that cause damage/reject products using the 5W+1H method. Based on the results of data processing, the most dominant factors that cause product defects are man factors, namely not following the applicable SOP, lack of focus and haste. The method factor is using a different stitching technique. The material factor is the use of low quality leather or thread raw materials. The machine factor is the intensity of maintenance and checking which is lacking besides that the number of machine maintenance technicians is also inadequate. Furthermore, the proposed improvement strategy that can be carried out is by updating the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) both in the selection of raw materials or sewing techniques and inspections during the production process, holding employee capacity building programs, implementing continuous inspections at each stage of production and production machines, and conducting a review of raw materials in accordance with company standards..
