Abstract

ABSTRAK PT Djohartex merupakan perusahaan tekstil kain gray yang ada di Indonesia dan berlokasi di Kota Magelang, Jawa Tengah. Saat ini perusahaan sedang memiliki masalah berupa adanya kecacatan pada produk yang dapat mempengaruhi grade produk tersebut. Berdasarkan rekapitulasi data selama 12 bulan pada periode Maret 2022 hingga Februari 2023, jumlah produksi kain gray yang dihasilkan sebesar 17.399.854 yard dengan kecacatan sebesar 3.910.169 yard atau sebesar 22% dari total produksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor penyebab timbulnya cacat produk dan memberikan usulan perbaikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) untuk mengidentifikasi serta mengevaluasi potensi kegagalan, dan metode Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) untuk mengetahui akar penyebab masalah. Berdasarkan perhitungan nilai RPN diketahui terdapat tiga jenis cacat dengan nilai tertinggi yaitu cacat rapat/renggang dengan nilai 270, cacat pakan kendor dengan nilai 240, dan cacat baar dengan nilai 200. Dari hasil analisis FTA diketahui cacat pada kain gray disebabkan oleh faktor mesin, metode, dan material. Usulan perbaikan pada faktor mesin adalah dengan melakukan preventif komponen elektrik, memastikan komponen mesin dalam kondisi presisi, memastikan ketersediaan pelumas tetap terjaga, mengganti komponen mesin yang rusak, dan melakukan check up kebersihan mesin. Faktor metode dengan menyesuaikan jumlah mesin yang ditangani oleh operator, lebih menegaskan instruksi kerja dan SOP, dan meningkatkan efektivitas jadwal pemeliharaan dan waktu perbaikan mesin. Faktor material diusulkan untuk lebih memperhatikan parameter standar operasi proses pengkanjian, lebih memaksimalkan persiapan proses pegkanjian, dan melakukan pengecekan hasil pengkanjian secara berkala. Currently, the company is having problems in the form of defects in the product which can affect the grade of the product. Based on data recapitulation for 12 months from March 2022 to February 2023, the total production of gray cloth produced was 17,399,854 yards with 3,910,169 yards of defects or 22% of total production. This study aims to analyze the factors that cause product defects and provide suggestions for improvement. This study uses the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method to identify and evaluate potential failures, and the Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) method to determine the root cause of the problem. Based on the calculation of the RPN value, it is known that there are three types of defects with the highest values being tight/spread defects with a value of 270, loose feed defects with a value of 240, and gross defects with a value of 200. From the results of the FTA analysis, it is known that defects in gray cloth are caused by machine, method, and material factors. Proposed improvements to engine factors are preventive electrical components, ensuring machine components are in precise condition, ensuring lubricant availability is maintained, replacing damaged engine components, and checking up on engine cleanliness. The method factor is by adjusting the number of machines handled by operators, further confirming work instructions and SOPs, and increasing the effectiveness of maintenance schedules and machine repair times. Material factors are proposed to pay more attention to the standard operating parameters of the starching process, maximize the preparation of the starching process, and periodically check the results of the starching..
