Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan siswa yang kesulitan dalam mendeskripsikan suatu profesi, serta sebagian besar guru berusia lebih dari 40 tahun, sehingga kemampuan untuk memahami konsep dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran perlu dibantu dengan memberikan motivasi dalam menciptakan variasi media pembelajaran yang unik, kreatif dan menarik menggunakan bantuan teknologi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research & Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media layanan informasi karier berbantuan Animaker untuk siswa sekolah dasar kelas bawah. Akumulasi hasil uji validasi yang dilakukan oleh ahli media, ahli materi, praktisi dan pengguna memperoleh hasil sebesar 90,30% yang artinya sangat layak untuk digunakan di lapangan. Terdapat 3 media video yang dikembangkan. Video pertama tentang cita-cita, pekerjaan dan aktifitas seorang anak. Video kedua tentang jenis-jenis profesi beserta tugas dan keterampilan yang harus dimilikinya. Video ketiga tentang cara meraih cita-cita dan kecerdasan setiap anak berbeda-beda. Manfaat dari penelitian ini adalah dapat memberikan variasi media dalam pelaksanaan layanan informasi terutama pada pengenalan profesi untuk siswa kelas bawah di sekolah dasar. Keterbatasan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah peneliti tidak melakukan konfirmasi ulang terhadap jawaban survei pra penelitian pada siswa, sehingga meningkatkan potensi kesalahan data informasi yang diperoleh. Media video yang dikembangkan memiliki kapasitas memori yang besar sehingga media menjadi tidak fleksibel untuk dipindahkan ke perangkat lainnya. Pergerakan mulut karakter animasi saat berbicara tidak dapat sesuai dengan kalimat yang diucapkan. Penelitian selanjutnya diharapkan dapat mengembangkan media berupa video dengan hasil akhir ukuran memori lebih kecil namun gambar tetap terlihat jelas, sehingga media video animasi lebih fleksibel untuk dipindahkan ke perangkat lainnya dan dan pergerakan mulut animasi saat berbicara diharapkan mampu sesuai dengan kalimat yang diucapkan. This research was motivated by the problem of students who have difficulty in describing a profession, and most teachers are over 40 years old, so the ability to understand concepts in developing learning media needs to be helped by providing motivation in creating a variety of unique, creative and interesting learning media using the help of technology. This research uses Research & Development (R&D) method with ADDIE development model. This research aims to develop a Animaker-assisted career information service media for lower grade elementary school students. The accumulated results of validation tests conducted by media experts, material experts, practitioners and users obtained results of 90.30% which means it is very suitable for use in the field. There are 3 video media developed. The first video about the ideals, work and activities of a child. The second video is about the types of professions along with the duties and skills they must have. The third video is about how to achieve each child's goals and intelligence is different. The benefit of this research is that it can provide media variations in the implementation of information services, especially in the introduction of professions for lower grade students in elementary schools. The limitation of the problem in this study is that researchers did not reconfirm the answers to the pre-research survey on students, thus increasing the potential for errors in the information data obtained. The developed video media has a large memory capacity so that the media becomes inflexible to be moved to other devices. The mouth movements of animated characters when speaking cannot correspond to the sentences spoken. Further research is expected to develop media in the form of video with the final result of a smaller memory size but the image remains clearly visible, so that animated video media is more flexible to be moved to other devices and and the movement of the animated mouth when speaking is expected to be able to match the sentence spoken.
