Abstract
Air bersih merupakan salah satu kebutuhan pokok manusia yang dibutuhkan secara berkelanjutan yang harus dipenuhi setiap saat. Peningkatan jumlah penduduk Kecamatan Muntilan semakin tinggi , maka sudah pasti untuk beberapa tahun kedepan akan membutuhkan air bersih yang lebih banyak lagi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kebutuhan dan ketersediaan air bersih yang dibutuhkan masyarakat Kecamatan Muntilan hingga tahun 2031. Penelitiaan ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Data-data yang digunakan anatara lain data jumlah penduduk 5 tahun terakhir, data jumlah pelanggan 5 tahun terakhir dan data kebutuhan air bersih untuk pelanggan Kecamatan Muntilan. Hasil dari penelitiaan ini yang didapat bahwa kebutuhan air bersih daerah pelayanan menurut prediksi pertambahan jumlah penduduk Kecamatan Muntilan 90,14 liter/detik dan menurut prediksi pertambahan jumlah pelanggan untuk Kecamatan Muntilan 58,34 liter/detik, sedangkan Ketersediaan Sumber air bersih masih mampu mencukupi kebutuhan air bersih tahun 2031. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan total kebutuhan air bersih berdasarkan prediksi masing-masing jenis pelanggan daerah pelayanan wilayah Kecamatan Muntilan pada tahun 2031 (93,5 lt/dt ), sedangkan kebutuhan reservoir unit Muntilan menjadi 1209,8 m³ dan hanya mampu menampung hingga 860 m³ . Kata kunci : Air Bersih, Kebutuhan ,Ketersediaan, Reservoir Clean water is one of the basic human needs that is needed on an ongoing basis that must be met at all times. The increase in the population of Muntilan District is getting higher, so it is certain that for the next few years more clean water will be needed. This study aims to determine the need and availability of clean water needed by the people of Muntilan District until 2031. This research uses a quantitative descriptive method. The data used include population data for the last 5 years, data on the number of customers in the last 5 years and data on clean water needs for customers in Muntilan District. The results of this study found that the demand for clean water in the service area according to the predicted population increase in Muntilan District was 90.14 liters/second and according to the predicted increase in the number of customers for Muntilan District 58.34 liters/second, while the availability of clean water sources was still able to meet the needs. clean water in 2031. This is evidenced by the total need for clean water based on the predictions of each type of customer service area in the Muntilan District in 2031 (93.5 lt/sec), while the reservoir needs of the Muntilan unit will be 1209.8 m³ and can only be accommodates up to 860 m .
