Abstract
ABSTRACT The Cibentang Village Government is the organizer of government affairs and represents the interests of the Cibentang village community in the government system. Asset data collection in Cibentang village still uses a manual process by recording it in a ledger, so it often causes asset recording errors. As well as the absence of recording of asset lending transactions, which often causes the loss of assets. Given these problems, the authors aim to design an asset management information system that can accommodate asset recording, reduce asset recording errors, and process asset reports, asset mutations, asset write-offs, asset loans, and asset returns in the Cibentang village administration. The methods used in working on this final project are problem identification, data collection, system analysis, design, system implementation, system testing, and final project reporting. The results of system testing show that the system can accommodate asset recording at 100%. From the implementation of the system that has been carried out, it is concluded that with an asset management information system, it can help record all asset transactions, reduce asset recording errors, and provide reports in a timely and accurate manner.
