Abstract
ABSTRACT Dinas Kearsipan dan Perpustakaan Kebumen is the executor of government affairs in the field of archives and libraries led by the Head of Service. Book lending activities are still done manually by coming to the library and borrowing books directly. The problem that occurs is that the process of borrowing books has not been done online so borrowing books takes 3-7 minutes. Implementing an online book ordering information system or E-Library System (ELibsys) application is a solution to shorten the time in the process of borrowing books. ELibsys application development using MySQL database, system design using DFD, interface design using Figma and application development using HTML, PHP, CSS, and JavaScript. This system is tested using Black-box Testing of each existing process. Of the 17 results of the test carried out, it yielded a value of 88%. With this online book ordering information system, the process of borrowing books is easier, because it can be accessed from anywhere.
