Abstract

ABSTRACT The implementation of quality education is a necessity for every school, including SMK BOPKRI 2 Yogyakarta. SMK BOPKRI 2 Yogyakarta always encourages the improvement of teacher professionalism by monitoring their work in implementing their tasks, so that the predetermined competency standards can be achieved. The monitoring of teacher performance at SMK BOPKRI 2 Yogyakarta is carried out by the school principal. The problem faced by the institution is that the school principal has difficulty in monitoring and evaluating the performance of teachers who still use paper, which slows down the process of quickly obtaining information from the assessment results. Based on this issue, the author proposes to design and develop a web-based teacher performance monitoring information system. The system design is carried out using the waterfall method, which is structured from requirement analysis (interviews, observations, and case studies), system design, code programming, code testing, and implementation. In the design of this teacher performance monitoring information system, web is utilized as the access platform with PHP programming language and MySQL database storage. The development of this teacher performance monitoring information system is one way to facilitate the school principal in monitoring the performance of each teacher, and the processing of teacher performance assessment data can be easily managed to generate accurate and precise information.
