Abstract
ABSTRACT Industrial Work Practices or abbreviated PRAKERIN is an educational program in the form of training and learning carried out in the Business and Industrial World (DUDI). The implementation of industrial work practices at SMK BOPKRI 2 Yogyakarta is still inefficient, especially at the time of registration. In order to streamline time for industrial work practice registration at SMK BOPKRI 2 Yogyakarta, it is necessary to implement a web-based information system that can support all PRAKERIN activities such as the registration process, student placement process, and the disposition of PRAKERIN student supervisors. The purpose of this research is to implement a Web-based Industrial Work Practice Information System at BOPKRI 2 Yogyakarta Vocational School which can streamline PRAKERIN registration time, and can maintain data quality in registration data management, student placement and PRAKERIN supervisor dispositions at BOPKRI 2 Yogyakarta Vocational School. The method used in implementing this system is the waterfall method. System design using object oriented namely UML, and database design using ERD. The web-based information system is implemented using the PHP programming language and the Laravel framework. Tests were carried out using blackbox testing techniques and the success value of the tests that had been carried out was 83%. This Web-Based Information System for Registration of Industrial Work Practices is able to provide real-time delivery of information related to PRAKERIN, and maintain the quality of well-structured data security.
