Abstract

ABSTRACT Attendance and timeliness of employee attendance are often used as an indicator in assessing employee performance. Employee absences greatly affect work productivity in achieving company goals. Attendance is one of the changes that must be made because it has an important role for the company, where attendance is one of the supports that can support or motivate every activity in it. In addition, this absence can also be information about how disciplined the employee concerned is. It is important for the company to know the presence of its employees, both those who often come on time and those who come late. Payroll plays an important role in determining the salary of an employee. The manual attendance and payroll system raises several problems, namely, employees can manipulate arrival time data and can also write down the names of friends who are clearly absent, so that the employee should get a salary deduction instead it doesn't happen. Therefore, in the process of making this attendance information system, it was created using the php programming language and in the process of storing it using MySQL.
