Abstract

ABSTRACT The need for blood at the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) Bengkulu area continues to increase. The difficulty in finding blood donors who are willing to help hospital patients who need blood transfusions is also a problem for the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI). The blood donor volunteer community is a humanitarian organization that often carries out blood donation and blood transfusion activities to help hospital patients who need blood transfusions. The absence of information that it is important and healthy to donate blood makes this community less interested. Therefore, a community application for blood donor volunteers is needed for a healthy lifestyle in the Bengkulu area based on web and mobile. This application can see the availability of blood donor volunteers so that it helps the patient's family to order blood, get proof of ordering blood, can register as a blood donor volunteer and get notifications and information about the importance and health of blood donation. The methods used were direct observation and interviews with Bengkulu Regional PMI officers and looking for some reading references that support the data collection. The results provided by this application are providing information on blood donor volunteer data and the number of blood donors per month in the Bengkulu Regional Blood Donor Volunteer Community which is fast, accurate and timely when needed and increases public interest in becoming a blood donor volunteer and has knowledge about the importance and health of do blood donation.
