Abstract
IMPLEMENTATION AND TESTING OF A WEB-BASED INVENTORY SYSTEM (CASE STUDY: KPRI SUMBER BAHAGIA, MADIUN CITY) Delvindiaz Ridho Kharismanza, Joko Aryanto Information Systems Study Program, Faculty of Science & Technology University of Technology Yogyakarta Jl. Ringroad Utara Jombor Sleman Yogyakarta E-mail : delvindiaz.ridho@gmail.com, joko.aryanto@uty.ac.id ABSTRACT The Republic of Indonesia Employee Cooperative (KPRI) Sumber Bahagia is one of the cooperatives in Madiun City which consists of various elementary, middle and high school teacher members. KPRI Sumber Bahagia was founded in 1967 and is located on Jalan Sumber Karya Blok K.6 Perum Bumi Mas I Mojorejo, Taman District, Madiun City, East Java. KPRI Sumber Bahagia has two business units, namely the Savings and Loans Business Unit and the Shops Business Unit. The problem that occurs in the Shop Unit is in the process of collecting data on incoming goods, outgoing goods and stock of goods which are still recorded in the ledger. In this kind of data collection process, there are many problems such as errors in calculating goods, making goods reports and difficulty in searching for goods data due to the accumulation of large amounts of data. To overcome this problem, the author proposes implementing an inventory system. This research uses observation and interview methods as data collection methods and stages such as database implementation, inventory system implementation and inventory system testing using black box testing. The conclusion of this research is to develop an inventory system that will help the KPRI Sumber Bahagia shopping unit in managing goods data, transaction data and ensuring that it produces accurate reports for each transaction.
