Abstract

ABSTRACT SMA Warga is an institution that operates in the field of education which focuses on education and the moral formation of students who are polite and have good character. SMA Warga is an educational institution in the city of Surakarta which is one of the most popular private high schools. With advances in technology today, a lot of information is distributed very quickly, one of which is the school academic information system. At this time, SMA Warga has not implemented an academic information system, where the distribution and processing of existing information still uses conventional media which takes a lot of time. Looking at the problems encountered, it is a good idea to need a website-based school academic information system to assist in data processing and document management. Analysis is useful for dealing with emerging and existing problems. The design was carried out using the waterfall method and created context diagrams, level diagrams, data flow diagrams, entity relationship diagrams, table structures and interface designs. The implementation process was carried out using the HTML, PHP programming language and the Laravel framework with testing methods using the black box method. By designing and building an academic information system at the high school, it is hoped that it can help process and store data in the database so that when distributing the data it can provide information more quickly and accurately.
