Abstract

ABSTRACT Madrasah Aliyah Nur Iman is a formal educational institution based on Islamic boarding schools. Most of the students in it are from santri circles. In the academic process carried out so far there has been no transparency regarding grades and attendance data so students need to ask teachers or administrators directly. Given these problems, an information system is needed that can assist in conveying information and making decisions. The stages that will be used in designing an information system include system analysis and design. The research method used to collect data is by interview and observation. The design of the Academic Information System at Madrasah Aliyah Nur Iman was built on a web basis using HTML and PHP programming languages and SQLyog DBMS. The method that will be used in designing this information system is SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle). It is hoped that by creating this academic information system it can help teachers and students to receive information more easily.
