Abstract

ABSTRACT Coday Coffee is a café built with an outdoor concept so that visitors can enjoy the dishes provided by Coday Coffee. Coday coffee sells various types of coffee from its own roasting and also provides various menus, both food and drinks. The cashier system at Coday Coffee is currently still done manually, customers who come will order a menu from the cashier, then the cashier will record the order the customer wants and the note will be used as proof of payment. Coday Coffee finance makes reports by recording the income obtained from the sale of Coday Coffee every day. This often causes problems in making financial reports because it often causes errors, such as recording the wrong number of orders when Coday Coffee is busy, as well as the possibility of lost the order receipt. Daily financial reports are made based on payment notes, which causes errors in calculating the amount of daily income in the sales report. Given these problems, a website-based information system is needed to assist in making end-of-month reports and sales cashiers. This is one form of coday coffee in the use of information technology. The stages in the system development process start from system analysis and design, then to data collection methods by conducting interviews, observations and literature studies. The cashier and bookkeeping information system design is built on a website and uses the CodeIgniter framework, while the programming language will use HTML and PHP and MySQL DBMS. The method used in designing this information system is UML (Unified Modeling Language) because it is more suitable for building this information system. It is hoped that the development of this website-based application can be used well, so that it can help employees in sales, and can also help the owner to check sales results.
